HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

As you can see Jonah is dressing up for Halloween. It's hard to tell but he is a knome. Can you guess who picked out that costume? He does look pretty darn cute though. Last weekend we went to a Boo Bash at a co-worker's church. It included all sorts of fun things for the kids to do. Jonah on the other hand just watched everyone. He wasn't sure what was going on.

Being one

First I want to thank everyone who made it out to Jonah's birthday party. While I'm not sure he knew what was going on, we did and truely appreciate everything. He is still opening new toys on a daily basis. My mom asked what he needed for Christmas and I told I'm not sure he needs anything.

Here are some pictures from the pumpkin patch. He had a blast walking through all the pumpkins. He's not so sure about the chickens though. I do believe he even tried a pumpkin by sinking his teeth into one. Didn't like that much. :)

I know it's been awhile since I've updated, but we busy bees at our house. I'm not even sure I sent out an e-mail about our trip to Omaha. If I didn't keep reading and you will see new pictures.

Jonah has now had 2 haircuts and still loves getting them. I think he likes that attention he gets from Mommy and Daddy (cuz we all know he is lacking in that). He is trying to walk more and more everyday. He will take a couple of steps and then plop down on his bottom. He just makes us laugh all the time. On Tuesday he said his first official word. It was bye-bye. Our parents as teachers lady was over and as she was leaving she said "Bye bye Jonah" and he said it right back. Nathan and I were shocked because he hadn't even been trying to say it. I have a feeling that's how most of his words are going to come.

If you haven't gotten your birthday invitation yet it will be coming soon. It's on October 3, 2009 at 2:00. It will be at Pat and Claudia's. We are kind of doing it open house style because we have invited so many people. If you want to see Jonah get his cake I would come as close to around 2 as you can. I plan on doing it then unless I hear that a bunch of people won't be there until later.

First hair cut

So we did it! Jonah got his first hair cut and he did great! We just sat down in the bathroom and Nathan used the clippers to cut it all off. The best part is, is that while I was tearing up, Jonah was loving every minute of it.

We also went to the doctor last week. She said that he was perfect, but we already knew that. He is 29 1/2 in long and weighs 20 lbs and 10 ozs. He is pulling up on everything and is starting to walk with help. I'm almost ready to go back to work so I don't have to chase him all day.

Getting big

Jonah went on his first vacation last week. We went to Omaha with Grandma and Grandpa. He had a blast. He was so good, no melt downs or anything like that. I think his favorite part was the aquarium. He was in awe. There is a tunnel that you walk through where the fish and sharks can swim over you. He followed them where ever they went.

Summer time

Now the summer time is here, Jonah can't get enough of the outside. We took our first trip to the park. He doesn't really understand sitting up the whole way down the slide, but he did giggle quite a bit when went down. The swings were his favorite. He is almost 8 months old. I can't believe how fast he is growing. He is finally doing a real crawl and pulling up on everything. He's already hit his head a few times, which is hard for mommy to watch. People keep telling me it's what boys do, but I don't know if I can take it. And as you can see from the first picture, he is starting to fight sleep. He just goes and goes until he crashes. Good for him, but wears mommy and daddy out.

Spring time

Well Jonah is 7 months old and getting bigger every day. He isn't exactly crawling yet. He kind of does an inch worm thing. He gets up on all fours and then flattens out. He gets where he needs to be though.

There are only 15 days of school left and I can't wait. I have so much planned for the summer Jonah won't know what hit him. We also hope to see our other Magers side as much as we can.
