Summer time

Now the summer time is here, Jonah can't get enough of the outside. We took our first trip to the park. He doesn't really understand sitting up the whole way down the slide, but he did giggle quite a bit when went down. The swings were his favorite. He is almost 8 months old. I can't believe how fast he is growing. He is finally doing a real crawl and pulling up on everything. He's already hit his head a few times, which is hard for mommy to watch. People keep telling me it's what boys do, but I don't know if I can take it. And as you can see from the first picture, he is starting to fight sleep. He just goes and goes until he crashes. Good for him, but wears mommy and daddy out.

Spring time

Well Jonah is 7 months old and getting bigger every day. He isn't exactly crawling yet. He kind of does an inch worm thing. He gets up on all fours and then flattens out. He gets where he needs to be though.

There are only 15 days of school left and I can't wait. I have so much planned for the summer Jonah won't know what hit him. We also hope to see our other Magers side as much as we can.

Jonah is 6 months old. How time flies! He went for his 6 month check up and the doctor said he was advanced in his development. We always knew he was smart. He is 18 pounds and 27 inches long. We are realizing how big he is getting because he is trying to crawl and we need a bigger car seat. We took our first trip to the zoo over spring break. The only animals he looked at were the meerkats. Not exciting to us, but he loved them.

Bath Time

Jonah is 5 months old and getting bigger everyday. One of his favorite things to do is take a bath. Usually he gets thrown in the shower when daddy takes one, but hey it's good quality time together. He is starting to try and sit up and it's a constant battle. He is also trying to get teeth. There is a lot of chewing and drooling going on.

Hanging out

Jonah loves to hang out with his grandparents. I think it's because they spoil him so much. Here he is at Grandma and Grandpa's (my parents). As you can see he has no pants on. I think he prefers it that way.

Here we go

So I decided to be cool like my sister (in law) and start a blog to keep everyone updated on our lives. Jonah is getting bigger every day. He was 15lbs 4 ozs and 25 inches long the last time we went to the doctor. He has discovered toys and will do whatever he has to to get to them. I can't believe we are there already.
